1 in 1 out? Tottenham linked with Dzemaili

Pseudo news/news has been coming through thick and fast over the last few days pertaining to potential Tottenham transfers – try saying that after England’s first World Cup group game.

Anyway The Times, no less, has reported (via The Mirror) that Napoli have made an offer of £7.5m for Tottenham midfielder Sandro. The Spurs star hasn’t really been doing the business for the last year and we think that he’s quite keen on a move.

If the report has substance then it could be the beginning of the end for Sandro at Tottenham, although we think that they could possibly squeeze a few more mill out of Napoli for a player who was highly decent when he first joined.

Coming in the other direction could be a midfielder from the very same Italian club. The Mirror also reports that:

28-year-old Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili is understood to be keen on a move to Spurs.

The 28 year old Macedonian is a proper journeyman having played for 3 clubs in Italy, FC Zurich and even Bolton Wanderers in 2007 – although his career never really got started there. As proof of his nomadic ways he’s turned out 32 times for Switzerland even though he was born in Macedonia.

Anyway, enough of the speculation. Let’s let his football do the talking and you can work out for yourself whether he’s good enough for Tottenham. Let’s have your thoughts.
