3-4-3: The Chelsea XI to swamp Liverpool

Chelsea have shown little to no sign of slowing in their title charge and with just 16 games to go in the title race TFF feels that it’s now or never for their rivals to start taking points off them.

A win for this imperious Antonio Conte vintage will surely leave them in an almost untouchable position in the title race.

Chelsea do have some big fixtures coming up against their rivals. But with no European commitments to slow them down they look full of energy and ready for the run in.

What has impressed us most with this team is how they seem to adapt to whatever formation is thrown at them. They suss out the opponent for the first twenty minutes and then find the weak point and go on the rampage. Lots of goals twinned with a mean defence reminds us very much of Jose Mourinho’s first year at Chelsea.

And with a big summer in the transfer market expected from this observer we could see a similarly impressive run in Europe in the next campaign.

But back to matters in hand.

Chelsea will play one of their toughest fixtures of the season against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening – albeit with the rivals in a rut of bad form with only one win in the last eight games in all competitions.

Liverpool do however welcome back the brilliant Sadio Mane from African Cup of Nations duty and he will likely make a big difference to that front line.

Chelsea will be content to leave with a draw but no one would put a win past them in a fixtures where every outcome looks equally likely. It’s impossible to call.
