3-4-3: Chelsea’s amazing XI to add 3 points at Palace – one major change?

Chelsea are flying right now and find themselves six points clear of the rest with just 16 games gone. Even a week can be a long time in football but Chelsea’s current lead, twinned with their performances, are making them irresistible title favourites already.

And they do seem to be getting better by the week as they continue to find their feet with a formation that is still new to the squad. How long before other big teams adopt the 3-4-3 we wonder?

Chelsea face a Crystal Palace side who have just come off a gruelling game against Manchester United so it may be a good time to play them.

And just to remind us all how well things are going for Antonio Conte at the moment, he also has a virtually full complement of players to pick from.

Eden Hazard, John Terry and Oscar all have minor injuries but our research suggests that all three could make the squad for this one.

Of the three, Conte will obviously hope that the in-form Hazard is fit to start the game. If not then we will surely see Willian come in to take the place of the brilliant Belgian.

So here is our XI with the assumption that Hazard will not be risked ahead of a crazy Christmas fixture list. And, even without Hazard, it’s not a bad side is it?
