3-4-3: Chelsea’s Best XI vs Bournemouth with injury and suspension issues

Chelsea’s mettle will be put to the test over the next couple of weeks.

They will surely invest in the January transfer window but, before they get a chance, they will have to take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge with two of their very best players missing.

N’Golo Kante and Diego Costa are both suspended for one game and they will be sorely missed against a team which has already surprised many this season.

Bournemouth are certainly no pushovers and have caused some upsets this term with their industry and technical proficiency under the impressive Eddie Howe.

Apart from these two suspensions the injury list is looking very healthy with only John Terry still struggling with a muscle pull.

So there is no reason to think that Chelsea can’t extend their amazing winning run to 12 league games and please their home crowd enormously while doing so.

TFF thinks that Michy Batshuayi is wonderful talent who will be a top player in years to come. His mobility should be used in place of Costa and he will cause almost as many problems as the Spaniard.

In the midfield room may well be found for Cesc Fabregas who has also been in fine form despite not being a guaranteed starter when everyone is fit.

So here is how we see Chelsea lining up for a game which TFF thinks that they will win but it may be harder than expected.

Blues fans: is this the best side you can put out for this one?
