Lallana-Klopp

Liverpool ripped Red Star Belgrade apart in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Next up, the Reds will face Cardiff City in the Premier League at Anfield.

The Welsh side ended their four game losing run in the PL last weekend by beating Fulham. They are 17th in the table at the moment and Liverpool should be considered favorites to earn all three points tomorrow.

As far as Klopp’s team news is concerned, we can expect him to make a few changes in the team that started the CL contest.

Shaqiri has impressed every time he has stepped onto the field for the Merseysiders. Therefore, he needs to retain his starting place in the attack. The Swiss international has shown that he has the ability to fill the void left by Coutinho and he should start in the No. 10 role.

Fabinho was rock solid for Liverpool in the Champions League but he might be be benched vs Cardiff and Milner could replace him in the center of the park.

In the back line, Gomez could be rested and Lovren should return to start with Van Dijk in the central defense.
