4-2-3-1: Manchester United want these 5 players for an amazing new look team

British media outlet, The Independent, has gone big today by suggesting that Manchester United want to bring five new faces to the club this summer and that the club is in a good position on most of the deals.

It’s a largely feasible article save for the fact that there is no central midfield anchor man mentioned among the shortlist. Are we to assume from this that Paul Pogba, the world’s most expensive player, will be asked to play a deep role again next season?

That aside these additions would be superb and give Jose Mourinho an almost entirely new team of his own.

David de Gea is now expected to stay at Old Trafford and continue between the sticks. Victor Lindelof will reportedly partner the brilliant Eric Bailly in the heart of the defence and the speedy Brazilian Fabinho will join from Monaco to add dynamism down the right.

Winger Ivan Perisic has oft been linked with the club and he could bring some more cutting edge to a completely new front line.

According to the bold report Manchester United will add not one but two top strikers to the ranks and perhaps go with a 4-2-3-1 with Perisic and the sensational Andrea Belotti assisting Morata at number 9. Then perhaps we can expect Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to both continue their development by sharing the wide right role.

So here is how Manchester United could line up next season and it looks like a title winning side to TFF.

Manchester United fans: is this the team to take the club forward at home and in Europe?
