Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola is a man in demand this summer. The latest club to be linked with the Spaniard is Italian giants Milan, who are hoping to hold talks with the Spaniard’s agent about filling their vacant managerial hot seat.
Milan sacked Allegri after a poor end to the season

The Rossoneri endured a poor end to their campaign, including a 2-1 home defeat against Cagliari on the final day of the season. The defeat saw Milan fail to claim a Champions League spot, after Allegri’s team fell from third to fifth place in the Serie A table.
The perceived failure led to the departure of experienced head coach Max Allegri, as well as several club personnel, including sporting director Igli Tare, chief executive Giorgio Furlani, and sporting director Geoffrey Moncada.
Allegri had previously guided Milan to the Scudetto in the 2010/11 season. However, that triumph was a long time ago, and the club are now looking to the future.
Iraola is among the candidates for the Milan job
In recent years, Andoni Iraola has earned himself a reputation as one of the best up-and-coming coaches in the European game. Iraola started his coaching career at AEK Larnaca in Cyprus, but it’s his work at both Rayo Vallecano and, more recently, Bournemouth that has really caught the eye.

The Spaniard guided the Cherries to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League table and European qualification for the first time in the club’s history. It wasn’t only the sixth-place finish in the table that was impressive, but their expansive style of football has earned praise.
Iraola is regarded as an attack-minded coach who likes his team to play a proactive style of football, which is one of the reasons he is so in demand this summer.
Milan face competition for Iraola

Unfortunately for Milan, they are not the only club believed to be interested in acquiring the services of the highly-rated Spanish head coach this summer.
Europa Conference League finalists Crystal Palace are reported to have Iraola at the top of their list of potential replacements for the outgoing Oliver Glasner.
Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen could be looking to appoint the former Rayo Vallecano boss if they dispense with the services of their Danish boss, Kasper Hjulmand.
With the competition for his signature, Iraola may not be an easy appointment for the Italian giants.
