27 games in 32 games: Striker thought to prefer Chelsea to Manchester United – Costa replacement?

It’s all kicking off in the transfer market now and TFF believes that this could be the biggest window ever. Because whilst there is more money in the Premier League than ever we also have the prospect of the newly minted Chinese clubs blowing everyone out of the water with the biggest transfers ever.

One such megadeal that could go ahead this summer is Diego Costa to China. The Chelsea striker has been a revelation since he joined the club in 2014 but he seems unsettled and may well move to Asia for crazy money this summer according to various reports in the football press.

That will of course leave a huge gap in the strikeforce at Stamford Bridge. Very few players could replace the excellent Spaniard but one such man could prove to be an even better striker.

Andrea Belotti is the subject of reported interest from Manchester United who are apparently willing to pay around £64 million for his services. But according to British media outlet, The Daily Mail, the Italian international striker would prefer a move to Chelsea.

They report:

United make first move for Torino star Belotti… but striker would prefer Chelsea

At just 23 years of age the Italian International has shot to stardom with three goals in just seven appearances for his country. He’s also been on fire for Italian side Torino this year with 27 goals in just 32 games for the club this term.

TFF believes that he would be wonderful Premier League player and we would love to see him on the shores of England rubbing shoulders with some of the best players in the world.

Chelsea fans – would this be the perfect replacement for Diego Costa or would you rather sign a more experienced player?
