Premier League champions Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £34m for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis. The Greece international is set for a medical in London ahead of signing a long-term deal with the Gunners.
The fee will be a record for a club in the Belgian top flight.
Tzolis is considered the replacement for Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, who recently left the Gunners for Turkish outfit Besiktas.

Tzolis has impressed at Club Brugge
The 24-year-old enjoyed a highly impressive campaign, scoring 22 goals and even more impressively 29 assists in all competitions in the 2025/26 season. His attacking output earned him the Belgian Footballer of the Year award.
In the previous season, he had scored 21 goals and produced 16 assists for the Belgian outfit, who he joined in the summer of 2024 from Championship Norwich City for a fee of just €6 m (£5 m).
Tzolis will be looking to enjoy more success in his second spell in England than he did in his first. In his three years contracted with the Canaries, he made just 30 appearances in all competitions and scored just three times.
A loan move to the 2. Bundesliga team Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 2023/24 season reignited his career, as he scored an impressive 24 goals in 35 games across all competitions.
Tzolis also has a respectable goalscoring record for his country, scoring nine goals in 34 appearances, although eight of those have come in the last two years.
Arsenal still chasing other targets
Tzolis is not the Gunners’ only attacking target this summer. The north Londoners are still being heavily linked with moves for Aston Villa’s attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers and Atletico Madrid’s Argentinian international Julian Alvarez.
The signing of Tzolis is unlikely to affect moves for either of the pair, as the Gunners aim to retain their Premier League crown and go one step better than the 2015/26 season in the Champions League by becoming European champions.
