Arsenal looking to sign £44million playmaker

Arsenal adequately improved their midfield department by signing Torreira and Guendouzi in the summer transfer window.

In the attacking third, the north Londoners lured Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan in the winter transfer window and opted not to spend more in the summer.

According to reports going on in the media, the Gunners now want to improve their offense by signing a top quality Serie A playmaker.

As per  La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Bayern Munich are looking to sign Turkish international and Roma winger Cengiz Under in 2019. However, the Italian outlet have mentioned that the Giallorossi do not want to lose their prized asset.

Playing position:

The 21-year-old attacker is a left footed player who likes to play on the right winger but he can effectively play on the left flank and also in the central attacking midfield as well.

Stats:

Last season, he scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in the Italian league. In the current campaign, he has played 8  games in all competitions so far, scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists.

Contract and market value:

Under’s current contract with Roma will expire in 2022 and as per CalcioNews24, he could cost around 50 million euros (£44million).
