Arsenal vs Chelsea: Predicted score, scorers and times

So in one game, this is the season. Let’s not kid ourselves that The Blues are anything other than red hot favourites for the league. But if Arsenal can beat them at The Emirates this Sunday teatime then they can slow the juggernaut and possibly make Chelsea ask questions of themselves in the run in.

If Manchester United had managed to muster a result at Stamford Bridge last weekend then this game would have taken on added significance, but it remains a big match all the same.

Arsenal will throw everything at an increasingly cautious Chelsea side, who will defend with their typical excellence, and look to feed Eden Hazard with the ball in the hope that he can make another decisive contribution. Both squads are pretty healthy but Chelsea do have concerns up top where Drogba and Costa are likely to miss out. Loic Remy also has a knock but should make the side.

We think that, despite the attacking prowess of Arsenal, this one has draw written all over it. It may well end in a goalless stalemate but, in order to add some gloss to the prediction, we are plumping for a 1-1.
