Agreement Reached: Conte agrees first Chelsea deal with selling club and pursuing 3 more stars – reports

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte isn’t hanging around where it comes to his transfer business this summer.

If reports are to be believed he has already made serious inroads in terms of new signings for Chelsea. And he will be addressing two problem areas if he gets the following two deals over the line.

The Daily Mail reports:

The Italian is already close to agreeing a deal for Roma’s Radja Nainggolan

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has been identified as his top target

The report states that Nainggolan is likely to cost £31m and £100,000 per week in salary in a signing that is a case of ‘when not if’ according to The Mail. The Times reports that a deal has already been agreed.

Bonucci may be harder to snare with Juventus reportedly keen to hold on to the 29-year-old who has four years still to run on his contract.

The Italian international centre back has played 55 times for his country and Conte will have plenty of time to convince the player to join Chelsea over the next few weeks as the current Italy manager prepares his troops for EURO 2016.

There have been two other interesting transfer links this week for Chelsea, including a rumour that Conte is interested in signing the rejuvenated Hatem Ben Arfa from Nice after the French international scored 18 goals at club level this season. He is joined on the wishlist by another brilliant French forward Ousmane Dembele. The Times confirms all this by saying:

Chelsea are pursuing deals to sign Leonardo Bonucci, Ousmane Dembélé and Hatem Ben Arfa after reaching an agreement with Roma over the transfer of Radja Nainggolan.
