Chelsea won a highly entertaining encounter against Manchester City in mid week and you would imagine that with it they sealed their fate as champions of the Premier League this term.
The gap between Chelsea and Tottenham is seven points with eight games to play but we imagine that, with the form that they are in, that cushion will be easy enough to see them through to the title in May.
Because Chelsea are playing with such confidence right now and they seem to find a way past any opposition regardless of formation of style of play.
Chelsea still have to travel to the likes of Manchester United but an away win against Bournemouth this weekend should cement their position at the top of the table and give them a site of championship glory.
And in what has been a remarkable season for the Stamford Bridge outfit they still don’t have an injury to speak of and the squad looks in rude health going into the final furlong.
Bournemouth got a creditable draw at Liverpool in midweek which must have taken a lot out of them and it’s almost impossible to see them getting anything against the imperious Chelsea.
So here is our Chelsea XI to take on Bournemouth and as usual it’s pretty predictable this season with no injuries and the only question in team selection is whether William or Pedro play on the right wing.
