Many to most expect Jose Mourinho to line up his ducks in a similar order to Monday night at Anfield when Manchester United parked the bus against Liverpool.
But TFF believes that Manchester United will go into this one with a more adventurous approach.
Because, with leaders Manchester City expected to gain three points at home to Southampton on Saturday, United could start Sunday 8 points behind their fierce rivals with just a quarter of the season gone.
Early days still, you may think. But, even at this stage, it would leave United needing three more wins than City, at least, if they want to mount a serious title challenge.
Furthermore, City too have been dropping points in the league – against Everton and Tottenham – and United haven’t capitalised.
Chelsea have and are now only three points off the pace. They will go into this one on the back of a brilliant win against Leicester last weekend, when everything finally seemed to click.
But Manchester United is a different beast and it will be fascinating to see if Antonio Conte goes with the 3 at the back which worked so well against Leicester but hasn’t been used much this season.
The Chelsea players are still getting used to it and will be tested to the limit against a United squad which is started to gather momentum.
So, while many will expect another draw in an emotional return for Jose Mourinho, we think that Manchester United will bare their teeth in this game and that could spell trouble for Chelsea.
