As per the provided ManUtd link, after impressive performances for the U-18 side under the management of Neil Ryan and Nicky Butt, Laird has earned himself his first professional deal with the club.

The player expressed his delight after signing the deal and stated:

“It’s like a dream come true, I know it’s a cliché to say that but it really is. From the age of nine, growing up in the Academy and seeing players above you get to the places you want to be, it’s just something you strive for. I’m really, really happy.”

Will he be able to get into the starting XI of the first team anytime soon? Only time will tell.
