Everton: Agent suggests that highly talented target wants move

Everton look about as solid as they always do right now but they are certainly lacking some fairy dust up top.

TFF wouldn’t be at all surprised if Ronald Koeman goes into the transfer market in January and one of the latest players to be linked to a move to Goodison Park is Alan Dzagoev.

The CSKA playmaker has seemingly been on the radar of English clubs for several years after some excellent performances in the Europa League and the Champions League.

And Everton may not be the only club interested in bringing him to England, according to The Daily Mail. They say:

Swansea and Southampton are ready to rival Everton for CSKA Moscow playmaker Alan Dzagoev.

The report states that Dzagoev’s agent has recently intimated that the player is ‘ready for a move to England’ and TFF believes that he has booked it takes to make the grade in the toughest competition of the lot.

Still only 26 years of age, Dzagoev been at CSKA Moscow for nine seasons. He has been able to get any consistent performer for his club with 62 goals and 84 assists in 286 games for the club.

With half a century of caps for Russia and nine goals in the time this is a player with great experience but with youth still on his side.

The 5ft 11in attacking midfielder is a gifted player but strong enough to ride a serious challenge. He’s also got good pace and great game intelligence.

Let’s see some of his best moments in his long and illustrious career for CSKA.

Everton fans: would this be a good solution to get the team attacking more smoothly or would another top winger be a better addition at this stage of the season?
