Reports: Two major deals in the offing for Everton?

The bad news is always best first right?

Well TFF believes that a deal for John Stones to leave Everton is now almost inevitable.

Ronald Koeman would undoubtedly improve the youngster and it will be a real shame if he doesn’t stay for at least another year. But the money on offer is ridiculous and Stones is seemingly seduced by a move.

Now the better stuff. TFF strongly believes that Everton will become a far better team under Koeman. The Toffees are fortunate to have a coach that we believe can manage any club in the world and these are exciting times for the club – Stones or no Stones.

And Everton continue to be linked with good players.

The Daily Mail reports:

Everton have identified Anderlecht centre back Kara Mbodji as another option to bolster their defence.

The 26-year-old Senegal international has p;played 24 times for his country and stands at a whopping 6ft 3in and change. But he has good technique despite his head being so far from his feet and he looks tailor made for The Premier League. He’s currently with Anderlecht in Belgium.

Another move which continues to generate much speculation is for Aston Villa midfielder Idriss Gueye. Reports suggest that he is either already undergoing, or about to undergo a medical on Merseyside, after Everton activated the release clause in his contract, said to be about £7.1m. ESPN says:

Everton are on the verge of signing Aston Villa midfielder Idrissa Gueye with the player undergoing a medical, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.

Everton fans: are these two going to walk straight into the first XI?
