Everton: Deal Agreed

Everton have been one of the busier clubs in the transfer window this month and they have done another deal for a talented youngster today.

British media outlet, Sky Sports, reports:

Everton have signed young German forward Anton Donkor on loan from Wolfsburg for the rest of the season

As is increasingly the case with modern forwards the Germany U20 international can play in various positions across the front line.

Although he is quick and looks really promising he won’t be expected to make waves in the first team straight away. It is thought that he will initially train with the U23 side and see what happens.

Everton have already spent big in the transfer market this month by bringing Morgan Schniederlin and Ademola Lookman to the club in January for over £30m in combined fees.

Both enjoyed excellent debuts in the win over Manchester City and will be hungry for more.

And while Donkor may not be expected to make a big impression the first XI this season Everton may well look to sign one or two more players in the final week of the window.

Several central defenders have also been strongly linked with January moves to Everton.

Everton fans: who else do you want to bring in this month?
