Full Premier League Fixture List 2015/2016 – Tough start for Liverpool and easy finish for Manchester United?

As our thirst for The Premier League gets ever greater, the fixture list seems to appear earlier with each passing season.

With the dust barely settling on The Champions League final (won, of course, by a rejuvenated Barcelona) we have been thrust immediately back into the myriad possibilities of another gruelling club season in England.

At the start of each term the pundits talk about the title race being more open than ever. In practice, we are lucky to get a two horse race come May. Indeed, Chelsea won the league at a canter last term. But we do feel that this next campaign could be really special.

Manchester City will be stronger next season and look as if they will spend big in the market over the summer. Manchester United are most definitely on an upward trajectory with a boss who can seemingly do no wrong in the eyes of the fans. Arsenal finished the season very strongly. And Liverpool and Tottenham have big squads with much to prove in what will be a critical campaign for their coaches.

Main contenders

Manchester United will probably spend 8 figures on transfers again, as their revenues continue to grow, and will be in the title race until the last day.

Chelsea will be even stronger next year and Manchester City look to have the bit between their teeth after a spell of mediocrity in 2014/15.

TFF thinks that these three will be the main contenders.

Just below them

We feel that Arsenal need a stronger spine if they really want to challenge next year. The additions of Cech, Schneiderlin and Higuain would take them much closer to the title.

Liverpool seem to have gone backwards since almost taking the title in 2013/14. But they invested in a lot of youngsters and Brendan Rodgers will expect big improvement from the likes of Emre Can, Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic, with young Belgian star Divock Origi also expected to return from a loan spell to make his mark up top.

Tottenham could be the dark horses if they buy well this summer and have an excellent coach in Mauricio Pochettino.

Crystal Ball

It’s almost tantamount to insanity to try to predict the final positions before the summer transfer business has really begun. But here goes:

1. Manchester United
2. Chelsea
3. Manchester City
4. Arsenal
