Great News: Manchester United wonderkid is not leaving says agent

TFF has been extremely frustrated by the form and lack of opportunities given to Manchester United striker Anthony Martial over the last season.

His first year at the club was absolutely sensational and he entered the fray by scoring a goal against Liverpool on his debut. He went on to score 17 in 46 appearances and was comfortably among Manchester United’s best players last season.

But this year things haven’t gone so well. Perhaps because he doesn’t track back as well as some other colleagues Jose Mourinho hasn’t played him regularly and his form has been stunted as a consequence.

You even might suggest that there’s been some tension between the Frenchman and the new Manchester United manager. And there are genuine concerns that he may leave the club before he gets a chance to really shine. But his agent has seemingly assuaged fears about an immediate move away from the club by stating in The Manchester Evening News that:

He said: “Martial has two years left and there is no reason for him to leave Manchester today.

“If Ed Woodward tells me they want him to leave, things are different.

The 21-year-old Frenchman did make 42 appearances for Manchester United last season but many of them came off the bench and his goal return was half of what he managed in his first season with eight goals in all competitions.

TFFs vision for Manchester United is that they sign the brilliant Frenchman Kylian Mbappe in the summer and try to form a trio up front with Rashford, Mbappe and Martial. It may take time to gel but they could surely become one of the most feared strike forces in the world and spend a good 5 to 8 years playing together.
