Fresh from clinching the Premier League title, Arsenal are eying a move to strengthen their forward line by adding Bournemouth youngster El Junior Kroupi to their attacking armoury, with a mooted fee of £80 million for the Frenchman.
Kroupi has Enjoyed an Impressive Debut Campaign
The 19-year-old Frenchman has certainly made his mark on the Premier League in his debut campaign in the English top-flight, scoring 13 goals in 20 starts and 12 appearances from the substitutes bench.
Kroupi has the fast thinking awareness and ball striking of Lacazette, but also the light frame and mobility. Has the ability to finish onetouch inside the box and 6 yard box (something akin to Aguero/Icardi/Lautaro). Elite 9 potential. pic.twitter.com/vJK5gugK3v

Kroupi was regarded as an up-and-coming young player on his arrival. Despite not always playing in the early stages of the campaign, he slowly started to emerge as a key player in his side’s challenge for Europe.
Heading into the last game of the campaign, the Cherries are sixth-place in the table and will be playing European football next season. It is now just a question of which European competition they will be playing.
Arsenal Can Afford to Splash Out On Kroupi

Mikel Arteta’s team may have claimed the league title, but they will look to strengthen from a position of power this summer by adding a quality forward to their squad ahead of their title defence.
The Gunners spent £250m on assembling their title-winning team. However, with the financial boost from winning the Premier League title and also reaching the Champions League final, the north London club are in a strong position to once again splash the cash in the transfer market.
Arsenal is unlikely to struggle to meet the mooted fee. However, it would be something of a gamble considering the player’s age and the fact that he has enjoyed just one season in the English top-flight.
On the other hand, Kroupi is now considered a top prospect who could serve the club for a decade, and Arsenal have a history of nurturing young French talent too.
For Bournemouth, if the fee is correct, then they will make a massive profit on the young forward, who cost them just £10m last summer from Lorient.
