There are many reasons why Manchester United have got the right man in Jose Mourinho. He’s a leader, a football genius and, despite the recent headlines, a great unifier of squads. David de Gea is one of them and this could smooth the way for the brilliant stopper to stay for another year at least, to see how the new regime develops. Let’s not understate how big a draw Jose is for the players.
