Liverpool are interested in Lithuanian international Vilius Piliukaitis, who has impressed big time for Blackburn Rovers’ U-18 side this season.
According to an exclusive report covered by TeamTalk, the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Spurs are looking to ‘seal’ the signature of the 17-year-old attacker.
TeamTalk have further stated that the Reds are all set to go to war with Tottenham Hotspur to hire the services of the highly rated youngster.
Last month, the teenage starlet provided an assist against Sunderland in a contest that Blackburn won 3-2 away from home. After that, Piliukaitis scored his first goal for the club in a fixture against Manchester City that ended 1-1.
Most recently, on 3rd November, he scored a brace and provided an assist to help his team beat West Brom 4-1 at home.
As per TeamTalk, a Blackburn source has stated:
“Vilius has emerged as one of the best young players we have seen in years, they knew he was talented before he arrived but he has surpassed expectations massively and now it is little surprise that the interest is so high.”
His performances have been fantastic lately and if he is actually as good as described by the Blackburn source then Liverpool should push to get his signing done.
