It’s that time of the year folks when the tabloid newspapers go mad speculating about who will sign for which top club next season. And the latest speculation in the British press suggests that Jurgen Klopp will press ahead with a move for a top Premier league player.
The Daily Star reports:
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp plans stunning Chelsea swoop this summer
Fabregas, who will be 30 in May, has been one of the stand out players in Premier League history. He played over 300 games for Arsenal before moving to Chelsea after spending a couple of years in Barcelona.
He trots around the pitch almost as if he should be in pipe and slippers as he always seems to have so much time on his hands. And that is of course the mark of a great player. TFF genuinely believes that he would add quality and creativity to the Liverpool midfield and, at 30, he still has so much to give.
During his long career he has won the Champions League, the Premier league, the FA Cup and La Liga in Spain. He hasn’t been getting into the Chelsea side so much this season as Antonio Conte has been going for a more hard running eleven.
But Liverpool fans everywhere would surely be excited and happy to see Fabregas turn up at Anfield this summer – he’s a top quality player.
Liverpool fans-would this be a vital signing for the club or is he a luxury player who is past his best?
