Liverpool still looking to sign £57million star

Lallana-Klopp

Liverpool are once again linked with Polish international and Napoli star Piotr Zielinski as per reports going on in the media.

Calcio Mercato have covered a story on key Napoli players and as far as Zielinski is concerned, it is mentioned that the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing him.

The Italian outlet have further stated that Ancelotti does not want lose his prized asset and the Naples based club are looking to agree a new deal with the midfielder and also double his current release clause of 65 million euros (£57million).

Zielinski has so far scored 2 goals in 8 league appearances for Napoli in the current campaign. He is naturally a central midfielder but can effectively play in the attack on the flanks as well.

As far as Liverpool’s midfield is concerned, the likes of Wijnaldum and Milner have regularly started under Klopp this season. Captain Henderson and Keita have been in and out of the lineup and summer signing Fabinho has mostly warmed the bench.

The Reds do have midfielders like Lallana, who has recently recovered from injury, and former Arsenal star Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is out with a long term injury.

Therefore, the five time European Champions do have enough quality and depth in their center of the park and Zielinski is surely not needed at the moment. In your opinion, should Klopp splash the cash to sign the 24-year-old?
