Liverpool suffer injury setback ahead of clash vs Watford

Lallana-Klopp

The Premier League will return next weekend and Liverpool will collide against Watford away from home.

In the last PL game, the Reds defeated Fulham at Anfield and they should be considered favorites to earn all three points vs the Hornets as well.

The Merseysiders are currently second in the table, two points behind leaders Manchester City, who will travel to London to face West Ham United.

As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, skipper Henderson missed the league games vs Cardiff and Arsenal due to injury and played for just 21 minutes vs Fulham.

Unfortunately, he is injured again.

For the national side, the former Sunderland midfielder played for 30 odd minutes vs the Unites States but was ruled out of yesterday’s contest against Croatia after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury (Liverpool Echo).

The 28-year-old star will be looking to recover in time to feature vs Watford. Fabinho has done well in the DM role in the absence of Henderson and if the England international does not recover in time, then we can expect the Brazilian to start again on Saturday.
