‘Part of Our Plans’: Liverpool have potential transfer fight on their hands as club insists playmaker not going anywhere just yet

Pulisic Dortmund

Liverpool have often been linked with Christine Pulisic over the last few months but latest reports suggest that they will have a serious battle on their hands if they do plan to snare the player from Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp’s, old club may just be keeping any valuation high but they seem in no mood to deal with the Anfield over a transfer anytime soon.

German media outlet, Bild, quotes Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc as saying (via Daily Mail):

‘We have communicated very clearly that we won’t sell Christian and that he’s very much part of our plans,’ Zorc told Bild.

‘Liverpool don’t need to waste time. They can save their money.’

The United States International (11 caps and three goals) is just 18 years of age but has already made a fantastic impression on the German Bundesliga. Despite having one of the strongest squads in Europe right now the youngster has played 15 games and scored two goals for Dortmund this season, in what is being seen as a real breakthrough campaign for the colt.

With Brazilian superstar Philippe Coutinho now injured for a couple of months some Liverpool observers have viewed Pulisic as an excellent addition to the squad. Pulisic can play on the wing or as a number 10.

But this one isn’t going to be easy to get over the line and it’s clear to see why when you look at his video highlights.

Liverpool fans: can you see Pulisic getting into the first team straight away or is he just one for the future?
