Liverpool will move in to sign €124,000-a-week star

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool have an overcrowded midfield at the moment with players like Keita, Milner, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain (injured), Lallana and captain Henderson around.

In such a situation, the Reds really do not need to sign another central midfielder but reports in the media suggest that they want to sign Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

According to Mirror Sport, Jurgen Klopp tried to sign the Welsh international in the summer transfer window but the player eventually stayed with the Gunners.

The British source have mentioned that the Merseysiders will move in again to lure the 27-year-old former Cardiff City man to Anfield. Ramsey will be out of contract next summer and he can agree a pre-contract with any club in January. Arsenal would like to sell him in the winter transfer window to at least get some cash from his departure.

It is further mentioned that the Arsenal star would like to move to Liverpool as he is excited about the chance of playing under Klopp.

Ramsey is not just a central midfielder, over the years he has effectively played in the attack for the north Londoners, therefore, Liverpool could have a huge asset if they can secure his signature.

Last season, the €124,000-a-week player (The Daily Star) scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions for Arsenal. This season, so far, he has only managed to provide 2 assists in 8 games.

In your opinion, do Liverpool need Ramsey?
