Manchester United are looking to strengthen their central defense and as per reports, a Danish international is in the lime light.
According to Calcio Mercato, Jose Mourinho is interested in luring Sampdoria center half Joachim Andersen, who has been in top form this season.
The Italian outlet have mentioned that ‘soon’, a ‘proposal’ signed by Manchester United could arrive for the defender, who is valued at around 30 million euros (£26million).

The 22-year-old defender has so far featured in 11 Serie A games this season and helped Sampdoria keep five clean sheets. Tomorrow, the Italian club will collide against Roma.
The Red Devils have been inconsistent at the back in the current campaign. So far, in 11 league fixtures, they have already conceded 18 goals and kept just a single clean sheet.
The above mentioned stats are very poor keeping in mind that United have a world class goalie like De Gea in the squad.
Mourinho has mainly utilized the likes of Lindelof and Smalling in his central defense this season because Jones and Rojo have been injury prone and Eric Bailly has been out of form. Therefore, the former Chelsea boss really needs to splash the cash to sign a center back for the Old Trafford club in the winter transfer window.
