Manchester City linked with 2 more transfers

Manchester City have signed some very exciting talent this summer in what has been something of a spending spree as Pep Guardiola shapes his new squad.

But it appears that, apart from the likely addition of a centre back before September, most of Manchester City’s remaining business will be to dispose of surplus talent of their own.

Just like fierce rivals Manchester United, City’s strategy seems to have been to confirm their arrivals before they decide who to let go of.

And now that Nolito, Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus have joined the club it appears that some of the established attacking talent could leave.

The Daily Mail reports today that Samir Nasri could be on his bike this summer.

City will listen to offers for Samir Nasri who has been training on his own and is wanted by a host of Italian clubs

The mercurial Frenchman has has some excellent moments at Manchester City but never recaptured the form and consistency of his last season at Arsenal and he often seems, from the outside, to be something of a divisive figure.

The 29-year-old recently said of Pep Guardiola:

“I am the type of player for his philosophy and the way he likes his team to play so we are just going to see and on the first day of pre-season I will have a chat with him because I am going to be really hungry.”

The same source reports that another wide man, Jesus Navas may also be sold this summer:

Sevilla want Manchester City winger Jesus Navas.

Navas is likely to find himself on the periphery with the arrival of Leroy sane from Schalke while other attacking midfielders are also arriving.

Navas has been a steady if unspectacular player for Manchester City and he sometimes struggles to get past his man and deliver a top quality final ball. TFF was always concerned that he may lack the physical strength for The Premier League.

Manchester City fans: a good time to sell both or do they still have something to offer?
