Bid Made: Manchester United make move for thrilling forward – report

If latest reports are to be believed then Manchester United are making moves to bring a player likened to Neymar to England.

The Daily Star passes this on from Brazil:

Manchester United launch bid for Brazilian forward

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly made a bid for Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus.

The report states that the 19-year-old has been labelled as an even better prospect than Neymar and the speculation seems to make sense considering that Manchester United are now clearly following a strategy of buying the best young players in the world.

Benfica’s teenage midfield monster Renato Sanches could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer and Gabriel Jesus would certainly speed up the attack at United.

The 19-year-old Sao Paolo forward (5ft 9in) has already played 52 times for Palmeiras and scored a highly creditable 15 goals.

Like Neymar, he’s slight, quick and is full of tricks but, like Neymar, his primary asset is his ability to stick the ball in the onion bag.

We have stated already that we believe the most important aspect of success in modern football is to have a stupendous front three. If you have 3 killer players up top then it takes all the pressure off the rest.

With Rashford and Martial developing beautifully, one more adaptable and top-class forward could be the final piece in the jigsaw for Manchester United.
