Manchester United: Big Transfer in January – report

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho may not always be right but at least he’s decisive.

And it appears that he has had his mind made up about the value of Morgan Schniederlin from very early in his tenure at Old Trafford.

Reports today continue to state that the France international will be on his bike come January with Everton continually linked.

Sky Sports reports:

Morgan Schneiderlin is set to leave Manchester United in January, according to several national newspapers.

A move to link up with his former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman at Everton is thought to be a possibility, but Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy report the Frenchman is a target for Inter Milan too.

The 27-year old France international, who has 15 caps for his country, has played 32 times for Manchester United in just under a season and a half at the club.

But he’s hardly figured under Jose Mourinho and TFF senses that, while quick and industrious, he doesn’t have the power or football brain that Jose likes to see in his midfielders.

In short, Schneiderlin doesn’t boss enough games.

Furthermore the Frenchman never seemed to show the sort of confidence which made him such a wonderful player for Southampton. Like so many Saints to be sold, he has struggled at his next club.

So now would seem like the perfect time to move him on, when his contract is still long, he’s relatively young and he can command a good price.

Manchester United parted with the best part of £25m to sign the player when he moved to Old Trafford during Louis van Gaal’s doomed reign in the summer of 2015.

Manchester United fans: can organ still turn his United career around or is it all over for him at Old Trafford?
