Out of Contract this Summer: Manchester United chasing another prodigy who looks set to move in the coming transfer window – report

Manchester United fans genuinely love to see a young talent come through and the assimilation of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial into the first team this term has given them more than a small crumb of comfort in an otherwise poor season.

British tabloid, The Sun, reports today that another brilliant young forward is being targeted by Manchester United as they look to build their next great team:

MOUSSA DEMBELE could trouser a massive 2,500 per cent pay rise when he quits Fulham this summer.

Dembele is set to leave Fulham at the end of the season and will earn a massive pay rise

The French striker, 19, is being chased by Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United.

Dembele has been a top performer for Fulham this season with a remarkable 17 goals in 44 games while still in his teenage years. Having played just 3 times for France U20s in his fledgling international career there is little chance of him being called up into the full France squad for EURO 2016 but he certainly looks as if he will be knocking on the door of Les Blues head coach Didier Deschamps before too long if he continues to develop as this rate.

The same source reports that Manchester United are also keen on at least one Sporting Lisbon star:

MANCHESTER UNITED have been handed a major boost in their bid to land Portuguese whizkid Joao Mario from Sporting Lisbon.

Mario, 23, has been on the Old Trafford club’s radar for the past few months as Louis van Gaal and Co line up a double swoop for Mario and team-mate William Carvalho.

Carvalho has been on the radar of many Premier League clubs for some time but Mario (pictured above) is a more recent subject of Manchester United transfer speculation. The report states that United had scouts in attendance at Sporting Lisbon’s recent 1-0 victory over Moreirense.

The player himself is clearly keen on progressing his career in a bigger league as he showed some metaphorical leg to the European elite by saying:

“The league I like the most and I’ve always liked the most in the English league.

“There are plenty of excellent leagues, the Spanish league is a great league, the German one too.”

Mario is a dynamic, powerful and technically excellent 23-year-old midfielder who looks as if he could score plenty of goals from deep as his career develops. You can see him in full flight below.
