Manchester United to give blessing to transfer of £50m worth of talent – report

Manchester United are in a big rush to get back to the top under Jose Mourinho and that means sales as well as purchases in the coming window.

The Daily Mail reports today that two big money Louis van Gaal signings will be allowed to leave in January:

Jose Mourinho will not stand in the way of Memphis Depay or Morgan Schneiderlin if they want to leave Manchester United for Everton in the January transfer window.

Memphis

Almost a carbon copy of ex-Manchester United star Nani. But, with his superior power and speed, Memphis looked as if he could be an even better player than the Portuguese if only he could find the consistency that has so far eluded him at United.

TFF remembers one piece of skill against Arsenal where the Dutchman took a cross field pass with his heel before flicking the ball into his path in one, unbelievable motion.

It’s just such a shame that his head seems to have gone down even further under Jose and perhaps a move away is the only realistic option now.

Morgan Schneiderlin

Looked liked a player who would thrive at Old Trafford with his bite and industry in the midfield. Sadly, the has lacked the finesse and confidence to ever stake a claim to a regular place in the starting line up.

But Manchester United’s loss could well be Everton’s gain with both of these players as both have the potential to be top Premier League talents.
