Report: Manchester United could make another move for world star

According to reports in the British and Spanish press Manchester United could make another move the Gareth Bale this summer.

The Welsh superstar has been injured at various points of the season and the Spaniard Isco has been playing brilliantly in his place. Reports suggest that if Bale is benched for the Champions League final against Juventus that Manchester United could move in for the player.

British media outlet, The Daily Mail, writes:

Manchester United ‘hopeful of signing Gareth Bale if he is on the Real Madrid bench in the Champions League final’

According to Barcelona-based website Mundo Deportivo, Isco’s form could see him start in Saturday’s final ahead of Bale, which could give United belief they would be able to tempt the Welshman back to the Premier League.

Despite not always being a fan favourite the Welsh international of 27 years of age has been a genuine success at Real Madrid. He’s been there for four whole seasons now and scored 67 goals in 149 games for the club.

But he has only managed 26 appearances for Madrid this season while still scoring nine goals.

TFF can’t help but think that he would be an absolutely sensational buy for Manchester United. A player who can genuinely fit straight into the team and add real quality up top. Manchester United have been slow in attack at times this season and Bale can cut through Premier League defences with ease.

He may feel that now is the right time to come back to England and Manchester United would be the one of the only clubs who could afford his wages and fee. He would probably command a similar amount of money as he did when he moved to Spain in the first place as he’s at the top of his game and ready to give another for five years to an elite club.

Let’s see him at his best for Real Madrid. Manchester United fans – would he be worth every penny?
