Manchester United: Dreadful Transfer Decision Almost Certain?

Manchester United are almost certain to offload Luke Shaw in the summer according to a respected source in the British media.

The 21-year-old Manchester United full back has had a rough time in his Red Devils career so far but few expected him to be sold.

British media outlet, The Independent, reports:

Luke Shaw is almost certain to be on his way out of Old Trafford at the same time, with Jose Mourinho frustrated at the left-back’s lack of development.

Shaw’s first season at Old Trafford was blighted by claims that he was out of shape. His second season, also under Louis van Gaal, started superbly but an horrific leg break in the autumn against PSV Eindhoven effectively ended his season.

Hopes were so high for him this term with injury problems behind him. But he clearly hasn’t yet gained the trust of Jose Mourinho and this report seems certain that the player will move on.

Shaw has recovered from niggling injuries from earlier in the season but hasn’t even made the bench in recent weeks.

Yet TFF still thinks that Jose would be mad to let go of a 21-year-old who can still become a world class player. Perhaps his positional play still leaves something to be desired but his pace, dynamism and ability with the ball at his feet surely puts him in the right category of player to be a real success at Manchester United in years to come.

He was signed for £30m and he quickens the pulse when he plays.

TFF believes that its would be a dreadful oversight to let the player leave.
