Manchester United: Major bid reported

It’s not exactly evolution at Manchester United right now and the last three years has seen constant and vast changes in terms of playing and management personnel.

What is for sure is that too many of Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United signings haven’t achieved enough.

One such player is France international Morgan Schneiderlin who has been the subject of constant transfer speculation over the last couple of months.

He’s hardly had a kick under the new Manchester United manager and all of the current portents suggest that he will surely be on his way out of the club when a decent offer comes in.

Latest report suggests that just such a bid may have been made.

West Bromwich Albion make £18m bid for Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin – Sky sources

The 27-year-old, 6ft 1in defensive midfielder has only made eight appearances for Manchester United this season and most of those were from the bench. Over the last month he’s hardly been on the pitch and it looks as if Mourinho has decided he is not a midfielder for Manchester United.

But he is a quick player and strong in the tackle. He would be a really good option for another side and clearly just needs to get his confidence back after the disastrous move to Old Trafford.

During this period he has not only lost his place in club football but also in the international side.

Overall Schneiderlin has played 47 times the Manchester United and scored one goal.
