Manchester United: No Deal Yet – report

TFF gets the feeling that this one will run and run until a deal is done.

France superstar, Antoine Griezmann, has been linked to a move to Manchester United for some time and rumours have surfaced in France that a deal has already been agreed between Atletico Madrid and Manchester United for the services of the ruthless forward.

British media outlet, The Daily Mail, reports:

Manchester United deny a deal has been agreed to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid

Reports in France suggested Man United had agreed deal for Griezmann

But they also refer to one of their own sources who has scotched these rumours.

That’s not to say that a deal won’t happen. And given Manchester United’s current profligacy in front of goal they must surely be on the lookout for just such a player.

TFF imagines that Griezmann would have helped himself to at least a brace against Hull, given the chances created by the wasteful home side.

Zlatan is a marvellous player but what Manchester United needed last night was movement. They seemed to run out of ideas when they got into the final third and struggled to find a way through the massed ranks of Hull players who defended for their lives in the face of wave after wave of red attacks.

Griezmann seems to TFF the most gettable A-lister out there as he is not attached to one of the biggest five clubs in the word. And, at just 25, he would be a long term solution either up top or even in his traditional position on the wing for Manchester United.
