Manchester United: Top target can leave as long as valuation is met

Manchester United fans may be interested to know that Paul Pogba is potentially available this summer, providing a club meets the valuation of Juventus for the player.

This is according to Spanish media outlet Marca which reports:

Paul Pogba has Juventus’ word that he can leave them at a time of his choosing so long as the buyer meets the Turin club’s valuation of the France midfielder.

Jose Mourinho is thought to be an admirer of the ex-Manchester United star and the club has been strongly linked with a move for Pogba over the last few weeks.

But the Spanish report is also at pains to point out that Real Madrid are his most likely destination. And TFF has to concur that, if he does move as expected this summer, Real Madrid is surely his most likely destination.

With his French compatriot Zinedine Zidane at the helm of Real Madrid the allure of the Spanish giants may be too good to refuse for a player who seems to have the pick of the top clubs in the world – those who can afford him anyway.

Paul Pogba joined Juventus from Manchester United in 2012 for little more than a bag of balls and some training bibs. He quickly went on to show that he is one of the best players in the world, even at the tender age of 23.

He has yet to really make his mark at EURO 2016 but Manchester United may see a really poor tournament performance as their only chance of signing the 23-year-old this summer.

Manchester United’s omission from The Champions League may also provide a major stumbling block in any attempt to re-sign the brilliant box-to-box midfielder.

Pogba has played 178 times for Juventus and scored 34 goals since his debut in 2012. At international level he’s made 33 appearances and scored 5 times.
