Scouting for Goals: Manchester United in sensational double transfer link

Manchester United have oft been linked with the services of Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku over the last year, as Jose Mourinho looks to add goals to his solid if unspectacular line up.

But British media outlet, The Sun, goes one step further in the latest news cycle by suggesting that the club will aim to sign both this summer.

They report:

Griezmann has become a goalscoring machine since he moved inside from the wing and has 15 in 41 games for France.

At club level he’s hit more than a goal every two games for Atletico with 61 in just 151 games for the club over the last three seasons.

He’s a speedy player and a ruthless finisher who is all about movement and intelligence. He can play anywhere across the front line, as he demonstrated earlier in his career.

As for Lukaku, he is the leading scorer in the Premier League this season with 24 in just 33 appearances in all competitions and 21 in the league.

He’s never been TFF’s favourite player and while he has many of the attributes of one off Jose’s best ever players, Didier Drogba, he doesn’t have the technique of the legendary Ivory Coast international.

But it still makes for exciting reading and TFF believes that Manchester United fans are in for an exciting summer in the transfer market. Because while they may bring in a full back and an anchor man, the main focus will surely be to add scoring power to this developing line up.

The future continues to look bright for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.

United fans: does he have the technique for the top level?
