Is it just TFF or is Jose Mourinho getting big Manchester United player transfers over the line quicker and with far less fuss than his two most recent predecessors?
The signing of Eric Bailly surprised most and was virtually done by the time most of the press found out about it.
Zlatan to Manchester United was the worst kept secret in football and some could argue that this was a protracted transfer. In reality most agreed that the brilliant number 9, who scored 50 goals for PSG last season, was simply waiting for his contract to expire to make it official.
And although Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a battle with his club before they granted his wish to leave, let’s not forget that it was only two weeks ago when Borussia Dortmund issued a statement to declare that the player was staying in Germany and that was the end of the matter.
The biggest one of the lot could be the last – some dare to dream that it’s Paul Pogba. But the majority of Jose’s Manchester United business has been done by the middle of July. And how refreshing that must be for those short-suffering United fans who have witnessed too many transfer fiascos of late.
So what of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who made his move to United official today? Well, TFF believes that he will be a monster for Manchester United. we can easily imagine him making as big an impact as Zlatan himself.

He’s another game changer – strong, quick and has that oh so rare football brain to go with the natural gifts. He’s two-footed, he scores goals and is a deadly passer of the ball.
It looks increasingly likely that he will play on the right wing, with Zlatan up top and Rooney in the hole with Anthony Martial left. Not a bad forward line and it’s difficult to imagine those four struggling to find the net.
