Another Deal Close: Manchester United expected to complete masterful signing this week

Zlatan - World Class

Manchester United are expected to complete the long-awaited signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Friday as his contract at Paris St. Germain officially expires.

It is expected that Zlatan will receive a loyalty payment for seeing out his entire contract at PSG and that has what has held up the deal with Manchester United.

The Daily Mail writes:

Manchester United set to finally sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic on July 1 after he delays move for extra bonus payment

The 34-year-old hit 156 goals in just 180 games for PSG despite intense competition for his place from Edinson Cavani.

And he saved the best for last with 50 goals in 51 outings last term as PSG again won the title at a canter.

TFF believes that Zlatan will find it harder in England but still be a huge success at Manchester United.

Most strikers are hanging up their boots at 34 but there is absolutely no sign that Zlatan’s body or general sharpness are failing him yet.

Indeed, we think that Zlatan and Manchester United will be such a mutually agreeable deal that they will end up extending his contract for another year to give the Swede the chance to play for the club in The Champions League.

With Henrikh Mkhitaryan also likely to sign for United soon Manchester United fans can expect a new look attack in the coming season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired from international football last week as Sweden exited EURO 2016. His international record reads played 116 and scored 62 – a great ratio considering the quality of his national team.
