£50m Teenager? Manchester United target explosive forward

He’s been hyped as one of the best young players in Europe and based on his performances this season it’s easy to see why.

Because Borussia Dortmund striker Ousmane Dembele appears to have the football world at his feet.

And British media outlet, The Sun, reports today that Manchester United will test the resolve of the German club this summer in order to bring the pacy youngster to the club in what could become a frightening and youthful United front line.

They say:

Ousmane Dembele targeted by Jose Mourinho with Dortmund wonderkid set to cost £50m

The 19-year-old has scored a fairly modest eight goals in 40 games for the German giants this season. But it’s his all round game which has impressed.

His scoring ratio will surely improve with experience but his dribbling ability, pace and ball control have kept made him a first team regular and won him an international call up for France, for whom he has now played five times since his debut last year.

Manchester United are desperate for more bite and pace in attack to add to a solid if unspectacular current line up.

And the beauty of a player like Dembele is that he can operate anywhere across the front line. He’s got a great temperament and will assist as many goals as he scores in future.

If he continues playing like this even a club the size of Dortmund will struggle to hold on to him and TFF can’t help but think that he would be a real crowd pleaser at Old Trafford.
