Talks completed this weekend: Manchester United will sign £202,000 per week, 5 year deal with superstar – report

Manchester United have long been rumoured to have an interest in bringing Paul Pogba back to the club and it seems ever more likely that their plans will materialise with latest reports suggesting that the Frenchman will agree a eye-popping move on return from his holiday in America.

The Sun reports:

Paul Pogba to Manchester United: Jose Mourinho’s United to complete negotiations for world-record £105m transfer this weekend

The midfielder will sign a five-year, £202,000 per week contract with the club when he returns from his US holiday

There is always the chance that Real Madrid will wade into the argument at last minute. It is generally assumed that the player would prefer a move to El Bernabeu this summer.

But, at 23, there is plenty of time for that even if he does sign for Manchester United, and Pogba would immediately treble is wages if he moved to The Premier League.

He had an underwhelming EURO 2016 where he was expected to steal the show but put in solid yet unspectacular performances.

But Jose Mourinho and Manchester United’s desire to bring him to the club seems not to have wavered and they are simply blowing any other suitor out of the water with their desire and finances.

Manchester United have been linked with the signing of a genuine A-lister for several seasons but have reportedly failed to bring the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo and Bale to the club.

Pogba isn’t in that league yet but is still developing. Furthermore, the transfer fee can be offset by the fact that if they do sell him later in his career, they will be expected to receive at very least half of the £105m fee they are readying.
