Bad News? Shocking transfer rumour for Manchester United

Manchester United are cruising again and finally delivering the results to go with the good performances that they have been conjuring over the past couple of months.

But, with a deep squad to pick from, we still don’t know Jose Mourinho’s preferred Manchester United XI.

And one player who seems on the peripheries right now is Anthony Martial.

The brilliant Frenchman had a storming first season at the club with 17 goals and 11 assists to go with some unbelievable performances.

But he doesn’t currently seem as aligned to the style of Mourinho – perhaps because he isn’t naturally a player who tracks back – and latest reports from Spain suggest that there is interest in his signature.

Spanish media outlet, Futbol.as, reports:

El Sevilla quiere la cesión del francés Anthony Martial

or

Sevilla want the transfer of Frenchman Anthony Martial

The report states that Sevilla’s director of football made contact with Martial’s agent to see if a move was possible.

The Manchester United youngster hasn’t been at his best yet this season – but nor has he been given enough game time to gain momentum – and TFF thinks it speaks for most United fans when it states that a move would not be the preferred outcome.

At just 21 there have already been many flashes of genius in his United career and more than enough to suggest that he could terrorise defenders for a decade. Martial has the rare ability to dribble with the ball as if it is stuck to his foot and he ticks all the boxes to become a United legend.

He’s played 66 times for Manchester United and scored 21 goals. At international level he has played 15 times for France and scored once since his debut in 2015.

Reds fans – keep him at all costs?
