Manchester United: He wants to move to England says team mate of superb 39 goal target

Gabon international Daniel Cousin has spoken to the BBC about a potential move to The Premier League for his sensational countrymen Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 26-year-old banged in 39 goals for Borussia Dortmund last season and looks as if he is about to enjoy the best 2-3 years of his career.

Cousin, who has hit 11 goals in 55 games for Gabon, reckons that Aubameyang wants to move to England:

‘I think he want to move. He want to move to England.’

‘The Premier League is a different style than Germany. It’s more physic….and for me I think it’s the good moment for Pierre to move in the big club like Man United or City.’

Rumours have been rife about the future of the player and his physical prowess would make him an obvious choice for the English league. But with more firepower arguably required at Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool (Jurgen Klopp managed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Dortmund) the competition for his signature could be fierce.

The Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has called reports of a move ‘total nonsense’ but, as is the way of football these days, the player will ultimately have a big say in what happens next in his career.

The Gabon international striker has played 49 times for his country and scored 20 goals. He is a pacy, composed and powerful number 9 but can also operate in wider positions to great effect.

He is easily good enough to play for a top Premier League side and Manchester United will have to move decisively if they want him at Old Trafford from August.

Cousins was also asked which club would suit Aubameyang best and he replied Arsenal, due to their attacking style of play.
