Manchester United have been linked with a gifted young wide man in the latest news cycle as they continue to gear themselves up for a serious title challenge in the next campaign.
And this time it’s a teenage sensation who currently plays for Fulham.
British media outlet, The Mirror, reports:
Manchester United vs Tottenham transfer scrap looming over Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham
The highly attacking 17-year-old left back has played for England at all international levels up to the under 19’s.
He has also played 30 games for Fulham in his breakthrough season at the club and scored 87 goals – a remarkable feat for a player who is supposed to be a left back.
He gives us the impression that he could be the next Gareth Bale with his lung busting runs forward. And it remains to be seen whether he will actually stay at left back or move further up the park as his career progresses.
He’s a silky and fearless performer who seems to cover ground effortlessly and has a wonderful left foot. He can cut in from outside and score goals as well as pinging beautiful crosses in for his strikers.
Although he is only 17 he looks to us like the sort of player who could actually make an impact straight away at Manchester United.
Manchester United fans – is he a player who could go straight into the first team or would he be another Luke Shaw and end up rotting on the sidelines because he joined the club too young?
