Manchester United will listen to offers for 23-year-old – clear out beginning?

Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for their young forward, Will Keane, according to a report in Sky Sports.

They write:

Manchester United will listen to offers for Will Keane during this transfer window, according to Sky sources

Already 23, Keane’s way to the first team is currently obstructed by Zlatan, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford. It’s difficult to see him getting past any of those guys any time soon and he’s only played for the senior side 3 times over the last 6 seasons. He played twice under Louis van Gaal in the last campaign before the Dutchman’s sacking – once in the league and once in the FA Cup.

Will and his brother Michael joined the club at the age of 11 after being spotted playing for South Manchester. While Michael left last year and has had an excellent season with Burnley, Will’s career has been stymied at Old Trafford.

The Englishman has been on loan 4 times over the last four seasons, with limited success.

But he’s a quick and technically decent player with good presence at 6ft 2in and TFF believes that he will have a decent career at a slightly lower level. But sadly, his time at Manchester United looks to be coming to an end.

Keane could be the first of a raft of departures from the club as The Daily Mail reported today that Jose Mourinho will meet with up to 9 players on Thursday to discuss their futures.

TFF expects several big name departures as Manchester United look to offset the huge transfer fee for Paul Pogba by streamlining their extensive squad.
