World-Beater: Why this genius can be a Manchester United player by next week

Regardless of the size of a transfer deal, there are three major factors which determine the successful completion.

And the reasons why TFF believes that Paul Pogba will be a Manchester United player by this time next week is that these factors seem likely to be satisfied.

1 – Transfer Fee

Manchester United have had their first bid, of around £86m plus £14m in add-ons, rejected with Juventus apparently holding out for £100m up front and £8m in add-ons.

But the difference is so nominal a that stratospheric level that we would be amazed if a deal can’t be thrashed out now. Any club that is prepared to pay £100m for a player will surely not let another £8m scupper the deal.

2 – Player Desire

Although it is generally accepted that Pogba’s first choice would be Real Madrid the Spanish club don’t seem prepared to stump up the cash. For once, Manchester United have blown Real Madrid out of the water.

And Pogba, who will quadruple his wages with a return to his old club, is said to be open to a move back to his old club. At 23, he has two big contracts left in him and could easily still move to Spain in four years’ time. Manchester United could then be expected to recoup a huge part of the 2016 transfer fee so it’s a win win situation for them whatever happens.

3 – Selling club

Juventus don’t want to let Pogba go but it appears that they will reluctantly do a deal at that level. Pogba will become the first £100m player in football history and Juventus can buy 3 top-class players for that price.

All in all we very much expect Pogba to be a Manchester United player by next week and it’s been a refreshingly ruthless summer for United in the transfer market.
