Premier League Predictions: Manchester United to close gap and Tottenham fate clearer?

We at TFF are rather pleased with ourselves for having backed Tottenham for a title tilt early doors.

And of all the teams who are contesting the most unpredictable championship chase in years Tottenham are the only ones who appear to be on an upward trajectory right now.

Leicester played really well against WBA on Tuesday but it’s points and not performances that count at this stage of the season.

Meanwhile Arsenal appear to be ‘doing an Arsenal’ while Manchester City have been sleep-walking through the last couple of months. City remain the most dangerous team in the league on their day but their days have been few and far between of late.

All the more reason why Spurs’ fate could rest on a positive result against the buoyant West Ham on Wednesday evening.

Oh and does anyone fancy a late charge by Manchester United? Win tonight and they are 10 behind Leicester with 10 games to go.

Here are our predictions for a pivotal Premier League fixture list.

Arsenal v Swansea 19:45

Arsenal must win this one to dampen the increasing chances of their worst-case scenario of a Tottenham title triumph. We are either expecting a big win or a 0-0.

Prediction: ARSENAL 3 – 0 SWANSEA

Stoke v Newcastle 19:45

Stoke are having a fabulous season but Newcastle’s form is impossible to predict. A few humblings of late have left them mired back in the relegation zone. But they have too much quality to go down right?

STOKE 0 – 0 NEWCASTLE

West Ham v Tottenham 19:45

Tottenham seem to find a way past most teams these days but West Ham are on fire. Game of the night?

WEST HAM 2 – 2 TOTTENHAM

Liverpool v Man City 20:00

The odds for this one should state that each of the three outcomes is equally likely. A fascinating game in store and one which could leave Manchester City in danger of losing fourth spot.

LIVERPOOL 1 – 1 MANCHESTER CITY

Man Utd v Watford 20:00

Martial should be back for United

Manchester United have rediscovered their mojo but for how long this time we wonder? Well at least until the weekend we think.

MANCHESTER UNITED 2 – 0 WATFORD
